Main Tasks:

  • Manage the formulation and ongoing tracking of each project in the mechatronics division

  • Manage the documentation, project tracking, risk management and interdependencies between the subteams involved in the project

  • Create and maintain project risk register

  • Work with multi-functional team to develop a project schedule with accurate resource demand estimates

  • Communicate and manage critical milestones and timelines to the sub-teams

  • Communicate the status of the projects with the other interested parties such as manufacturing, service, software, sales and executive management teams

  • Handle conflicts in a professional and effective way

  • Influence and motivate team through challenges

  • Make judgement of when to escalate issues and to the right level

  • Contribute to PMO structure and process improvements

 

 Requirements:

  • BSc. or College degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Technology or equivalent

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a technical project management role

  • Experience working in project management for multidisciplinary technical projects (mechanical, electrical, low-level software)

  • Minimum of 8 years in project management role mainly in product development projects with multi-functions engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software,…etc.)

  • Past experience in product development as design engineer

  • PMP or Prince2 Practitioner certified or actively working towards getting certified

  • Skilled in MS Project

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, work well with diverse groups of people
