Robotic Weld Operator Primary Responsibilities:

Access programs, set tools, and operate welding robotInterpret and carry out work orders, blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructionsPerform daily preventative maintenance on robotic weld machinePerform quality checks on parts using inspection tools such as tape measuresAssemble materialsLoad and unload fixtures and partsClean and organize workstation

Hours (subject to change according to needs of ongoing projects):

1st Shift 6AM-2PM, Monday-Friday2nd Shift 2PM-10PM, Monday-Friday3rd Shift 10PM-6AM, Sunday-Thursday

Robotic Weld Operator Minimum Qualifications:

High degree of mechanical aptitudeAbility to read and interpret blueprintsFamiliarity with robotic welding machines (training available)Able to pass print reading, measurement, and fraction/decimal conversion testsAble to responsibly handle confidential information

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
