Software Engineer, Robotics

The individual will play a critical role in the development and implementation of advanced algorithms and software across a multitude of robotics and electro-mechanical product development projects. This position demands exceptional creativity to develop innovative solutions for high performance devices. It requires both a sound understanding of fundamental engineering, computer vision, state-of-the-art signal processing, and learning algorithms. It also requires hands on abilities to implement and test new algorithms and software on both physical hardware and in simulated environments. The successful candidate will be assigned to develop first of a kind and/or state-of-the-art algorithms and software code.

DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development and implementation of support systems and development tools across a multitude of robotics and electro-mechanical product development projects. This position demands the ability to develop innovative solutions for high performance systems. It requires a sound understanding of fundamental development and production processes, an ability to design and customize tools that engineers and technicians can use for software development, and a strong network and system architecture background for implementation.

Embedded Software Engineer

Successful candidates will play a critical role in the development of embedded software across a multitude of robotics and electro-mechanical product development projects. This position demands exceptional creativity to develop innovative solutions for high performance devices. It requires both a sound understanding of fundamental engineering, principles of software engineering, and the ability to develop software on various hardware platforms/architectures. It requires the hands-on abilities to implement and test new algorithms and software on both physical hardware and in simulated environments.

Systems Engineer Specialist

The Systems Engineer Specialist is responsible for robot systems engineering work product development for all assigned projects. This includes but is not limited to user stories, use cases, system requirements and system architecture. This role will also mentor the software engineering disciplines in ensuring that software requirements and software architecture is developed from the system work products.

Electro-Mechanical Technician, Level 1

Sarcos Electro-Mechanical Technicians are involved with all aspects of building Sarcos robotic systems because they can deal with all hardware related issues, both electronics and mechanical. This position requires extensive experience with complex mechatronic systems requires completing a wide variety of tasks including ordering components, stuffing PCB’s, fabricating cable/wiring harnesses, conducting quality inspections on subassemblies prepared by suppliers, testing and calibrating completed units, and installing electronics and building sub-assemblies of fabricated parts and equipment working from BOMs, solid models, fabrication drawings, and work instructions using standard hand and power tools. Electro-Mechanical Technicians work with bench top test devices, prototype robots, and production level robots. A successful candidate will be expected to work from BOMs, schematics, CAD models, fabrication drawings and work instructions. Electro-Mechanical Technicians will work closely with engineers and designers and install, repair, and maintain electronics tooling and equipment.
