As a Senior Software Engineer in Perception Infrastructure, you will be responsible for developing the foundation for the Perception System used on the self-driving vehicle. You will work with the world-class Perception developers and researchers together to improve the overall performance and quality of Perception.

Software Engineer – Full Stack

We’re looking for a software engineer – full stack in our Fremont office in California. You will play a significant role in building intuitive user interfaces for our web applications. In this role, you are responsible for:

Design and implement architectures to support customer web applications
Write software to build the best functionality to power the web applications; Work and impact on every component of web applications
Build applications to provide insight into our data and impact operational strategies
Collaborate closely with team members to improve and/or rewrite existing applications

Senior Software Engineer – Machine Learning Pipeline

As a Senior Software Engineer in Machine learning pipeline, you will be responsible for developing training, inference and evaluation pipeline for machine learning models used on the self-driving car. You will work with large-scale labeled data and will work with deep learning model developers and researchers together to improve the overall pipeline used in our machine learning development.

Senior Software Engineer – Deep Learning

As the Project Manager, you will collaborate with internal engineers and external business partners to gather project requirements and success metrics, document detailed plans, communicate status regularly, and usher projects to completion. This includes managing project schedules, tracking action items, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects will span in scope and follow the engineering team needs, and it’s your job to keep the team coordinated on the project’s progress and deadlines. This person should be willing to do whatever is needed since we are a startup and should be able to learn quickly.

Release Engineer

Manage daily build checks, pre-push release testing and logistics, production pushes, release related communication, and documentation. This involves coordination with multiple teams and ability to drive progress and resolve blocking issues
Evaluate risk of issues affecting upcoming releases, as well as risk of proposed fixes; perform change control and management
Manage release branch creation and troubleshoot basic issues and escalate to point of contacts
Synthesize information on feature readiness, issues and safety metrics to drive effective decision making around release promotion, scope and schedule
Find ways to streamline and automate existing release processes. This includes identifying and managing dependencies on hardware, firmware, scaling the release vetting process to multiple platforms and hardware versions, multiple locations, new road types, and weather conditions
Ensure documentation is known and used and/or adopted by others to make a project repeatable and scalable
Coordinate release in other sites
