R&D Director, Emerging Robotics

In this role, you will be in a key supporting role focused on the forefront of digital and robotic technology for the orthopedic medical device industry. The ideal candidate for this role is a strong collaborator that takes the time to understand the key stakeholders in order to drive development of a robotic solution that delivers the value drives required by DePuy Synthes Spine. They will have a relentless and extraordinary attention to every detail of the project. Finally, they will have communication and collaboration skills that allow them to lead the R&D team and influence the cross functional teams to flawlessly execute on time and on scope. They will tenaciously drive the project timeline forward, unapologetically making and communicating critical path decisions. Software Developer – Autonomy (SLAM)

Our robots make maps of a wide variety of indoor spaces, including malls, grocery stores, colleges, hospitals, airports, etc., using lasers and cameras. Using these maps, our robots plan optimal paths to cover the floor space as quickly and completely as possible. We are looking for an autonomy software developer to improve our localization and mapping software.

Senior Software Developer – Sensors (Team Lead)

We are looking for a senior software developer to join and lead our platform team to work on sensors algorithms.

Robotic Perception Engineer

Within the robot software team, you will be in charge of optimising the robot’s perception of the environment (recognition and characterisation of objects).

-Identify and characterise the environment of the robot;
-Implement and optimise image analysis and point cloud algorithms;
-Keep up to date with the state of the art in the field of perception.

Robot arm to play Shuffleboard

We are looking to build a robot that can play shuffleboard. The arm gets input from a computer – allowing people to play shuffleboard through the internet. The basic commands are to move the arm 1-100 on an X-Y axis and 1-100 in terms of forward thrust power.

Software Engineer, Applied Robotics/Controls

You’d join a small (but growing!) scrappy technical team tackling some hard unsolved problems combining robotics, controls, sensors and machine learning, working on a mix of improving the control systems and software infrastructure that allow us to build amazing robot capabilities, and building and prototyping new capabilities and robot applications on top of this infrastructure.

Sr. Software Engineer, Mobile Builds

Responsible for supporting the software build and release needs of iRobot’s mobile software teams.

Hands on multiple aspects of the build, test, and deployment systems, from designing the build / test / release pipelines for the development team to helping fellow engineers resolve problems in the development environment for iOS and Android.
