Sr. Perception Engineer

We are seeking experts and explorers in the areas of perception and sensor fusion, machine learning, human-collaborative engineering, big data, deep learning, novel algorithm development for breakthrough autonomy research!
The Perception & Sensing group is developing methods for aircraft to realize their surroundings!

Computer Vision Scientist

You will collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary engineers to tackle hard problems and help advance the future of autonomous robots. More specifically, you will apply computer vision and computational geometry fundamentals to real world problems related to autonomous vehicles’ ability to perceive the world around them. As an example, you will work with both 2D and 3D object detection and segmentation using deep learning to facilitate the autonomous robot’s operations. The position consists of the full development cycle where you’d design a test setup for emulating the real-world conditions, develop algorithms to perform the required measurements, test it on the field and refine the product by learning and applying new algorithms.

Systems Integration Engineer – Robotic Controls

The Verb Digital Surgical Platform is incredibly complex. Blending robotics, imaging systems, user interface / user experience requires a talented team of engineers with strong system integration experience. We’re looking for talented robotics software engineers to design, implement, integrate and test autonomous navigation and robot control software on heavy industrial machines. The role includes developing software for perception, SLAM, for single and multi-agent system

Robotics Controls Engineer

We are building legged robots to be fluid, dynamic, and agile, to approach and eventually exceed animal mobility, using legs, arms, and perception. The mechanical team at Agility Robotics coordinates closely with the controls team to ensure that the hardware is made with control in mind; ensuring that the sensing, actuation, and passive-dynamic behavior will enable excellent control. As an integrated team, we design behaviors through cooperation between control software and mechanical passive dynamics.

Agility Robotics seeks robotics and controls engineers with experience applying rigorous mathematical tools to dynamic machines. Experience with legged locomotion is not necessary, and depending on the specific approach, may or may not be helpful. If you have used trajectory optimization tools, controlled a juggling robot, a ping-pong playing robot, or anything involving multiple joints and fast, dynamic motion, you begin to have the background we seek.
