Robotics Intern

At Exyn Technologies, we are excited about the future of robotics in the realm of aerial autonomy. Groundbreaking aerial robots require great engineering, and we’re looking for passionate and dedicated interns to be a part of our Philadelphia team. To apply for internship, you need to be currently pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in engineering. Highly motivated high school students will also be considered.

As a robotics intern, you will research, develop, and implement to extend our core algorithm, software, and hardware technologies while supporting our critical milestones. You will be part of an early-stage company and will have an opportunity to impact the direction of the company. There will be opportunities to support field testing, work with customers and investors, as well receiving mentoring from the team members.

Software Engineer, User Interface

At Exyn Technologies, we are excited about the future of robotics in the realm of aerial autonomy. A critical part of the robotics stack is the UI, which provides visualization and interpretation of data collected by the robot and enables the user to interact with and control the behavior of the robot in real-time. As the developer of the user interface, your work will directly shape the way that our technology is perceived by customers. Your role will include:

Gathering of requirements and iterating on designs with customers and users
Development of effective, efficient, and intuitive UIs targeted towards both end-users and engineers
Deployment of tablet and desktop applications to Linux, Android, and Windows
In addition, there will be opportunities to support research and development, field testing, work with customers and investors, as well as mentor members of the team. Exyn is a great place to work, learn, and grow.

Sr. Autonomy Engineer

The Autonomy Research Division was formed to address a growing research area at Aurora. Specifically, ARD applies select disciplines to the development of advanced autonomous systems, supporting levels of autonomy ranging from unmanned aircraft to optionally-piloted aircraft and human-automation teaming within the flight deck.

We are seeking experts and explorers in the areas of perception and sensor fusion, machine learning, human-collaborative engineering, big data, deep learning, novel algorithm development for breakthrough autonomy, mathematics, GPU computing, embedded systems, adaptive control, flight control and trajectory planning, modeling and simulation, and related fields. Cross-disciplinary interests are highly sought and unique initiatives are encouraged.

Intelligent Systems Group Lead

We are looking for an Intelligent Systems Group Lead!
The Intelligent Systems Group houses Aurora’s expertise in planning, estimation, and control of cutting-edge autonomous aircraft and multi-vehicle systems.

Human Factors Design Engineer

Aurora Flight Sciences’ Humans and Autonomy Group, based in the Research and Technology Center in Cambridge, MA, supports the design and evaluation of user interfaces for autonomous and unmanned vehicles.
